![]() The Hohokams host spring training for the Oakland Athletics at Hohokam Stadium in Mesa and for the Chicago Cubs at Sloan Park.We are very proud to be the spring training home of the Oakland A’s. The Mesa Hohokams are a group of civic volunteers dedicated to raising funds for local charities and youth sports programs. In 1984, the club used Phoenix Municipal Stadium before occupying renovated Hohokam Stadium starting in 2015. The A's trained in Mesa from 1969 through 1978, then moved to Scottsdale through 1983. The Oakland Athletics spent spring training in the southeast region of the United States for many years before moving to Arizona. Be sure to visit /spring prior to your visit to see prohibited items.
